This Government of Assam State has launched this Assam Nijut Moina Scheme in order to support female students across the state. Under this Scheme the Authorities will provide a Financial Assistance to all the female students who want to pursue their education but they cant because of their financial condition. The Government has launched a total budget of 1500 Crore under this scheme in order to provide benefits to the beneficiaries. Objective of Assam Nijut Moina Scheme
The main objective behind this Nijut Moina Scheme is to support all the financially weak female students across the state. Under this scheme the Government will provide a Financial Assistance of INR 1000 to INR 2500 monthly to all the Female students who belong from financially Unstable households. This initiative will decrease the women education dropout rate in the state. With the Implementation of this programme the female students will become more self confident and more self-reliant and they does not have to depend on the other for their fees and other needs. This initiative will improve the social status of the female students.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Assam state.
- Under this scheme only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- The applicant must not be a married citizen.
- Applicant must be getting an education from any Government school or college in Assam state.

- Financial assistance in the form of admission incentives will you given to the selected female students who are currently enrolled in government educational Institutes.

Assam Nijut Moina Scheme Application Process 2024
STEP 1: First of all the female applicant must take the application form from their school or college and fill up the application form correctly with all the details required.
STEP 2: After entering all the details asked in application form and attaching all necessary documents the applicant must submit the application form back to their college or school.
STEP 3: Now the principals will collect all the application forms and verify the application forms and submit the data for auto-verification in the portal.
STEP 4: The selected applicants will receive a certificate from the authorities in order to help them identify that they have been selected under the scheme.
STEP 5: The female students must consult with their guardians/parents before availing the financial assistance under this scheme.
