According to the scheme the Government has aimed to provide Internship Opportunities to 1 Crore Students and will provide financial assistance and monthly stipend to all the eligible selected students.

This Prime Minister Internship Scheme 1 Crore Youth 2024 has been launched by the Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman on 3rd October 2024. According to the scheme the Government aims to provide Internship Opportunities to all the eligible educated youth who are unemployed due to various reasons. Under this scheme the Government aims to provide employment to 1 crore students.
Not only the job opportunities the Government will provide financial assistance to all the selected eligible youth as a monthly stipend so that they can fulfill their needs if not getting any job. The Financial Assistance provided under this Prime Minister Internship Scheme 1 Crore Youth will be sent directly to the Beneficiary Bank Account by DBT Process.

Prime Minister Internship Scheme Official Launch on 3rd Oct
The Finance Minister of India Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman has launched this scheme on 3rd October 2024. Under this scheme all the youth aged between 21 to 24 years of age will be get selected on the basis if Eligibility Criteria and will get Employment Opportunities and skills development programs Internships.
This initiative will run only 1 year so the Government has aimed to provide employment and Internship to at least 1 crore people. The Government will also provide monthly financial assistance to all the selected beneficiaries under this Prime Minister Internship Scheme 1 Crore Youth. The main purpose behind this Prime Minister Internship Scheme 1 Crore Youth is to provide support and financial assistance to all the unemployed youth by providing them employment opportunities and financial help. Eligibility Criteria To Prime Minister Internship Scheme
- Applicant must be a permanent citizen of India.
- Applicants age criteria should be from 21 to 24 years of age.
- Applicant youth must not have an ongoing job.
- Candidates whose family members are Govt. Job holders will be excluded.
- Students who studied at prestigious institutions like IITs, IIMs, or hold qualifications like CA or CMA are not eligible under this program.
- Those Youth who have trained at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and Kaushal Kendras (skill centers) can apply.

- The internship program will run for a total of one year.
