Objective of Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2024

The main Objective behind this Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme is to provide Financial Assistance to all the eligible citizens across the state. Under this scheme the Telangana State government will provide financial assistance to citizens to get married without worrying about their financial status. The Government will provide INR 1 Lakh directly transferred to the Brides bank account through DBT. This scheme will empower, uplift the social status and standard of living of all the citizens who belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
• To Apply under this scheme the bride must be 18 years of age.
• A Bride must belong to below the poverty line category and financially unstable family.
• Applicant bride must belong to a minority group.
• The annual income of the Brides family must not exceed INR 2 lakh in the case of SC, ST, or OBC urban and in rural areas the annual income must not exceed than INR 1.5 Lakh.
